Eastenders Repertory Company presents The Love of Don Perlimplín and Belisa in His Garden
Part of Series A of 100 Years of Sex-Acts.

A fascinating mixture of realism and surrealism with more than a dose of the folk drama and religious festival, Don Perlimplín opens with the proposal of marriage by Don Perlimplín, an old man inexperienced sexually, to Belisa, a beautiful, sensual, vital young woman and unfolds into a fantastical, sensual tale. A transformative tragedy about the flesh and the spirit, illusion and reality, self-sacrifice and the triumph of the imagination.
