On Monday and Tuesday evenings, October 8th and 9th, the artistic staff of Eastenders will conduct a special workshop geared toward directorial techniques in approaching new plays.
Eastenders invites its audience to become part of the creative process. We are excited to give emerging Bay Area writers an opportunity to hear their words read by a company of professionals. Following each reading, performers and playwrights invite the audience to engage in a dramaturgical discussion and offer constructive feedback to the writers. ERC believes in the value of workshops, staged readings, and play development. Our company considers these activities to be the core of our mission, to nurture artists and incubate new work. |
