Eastenders Repertory Company presents Three More Sleepless Nights
Part of Series C of 100 Years of Sex-Acts.

This is a play about ordinary people in the rut of their lives, a play about three insomniac evenings with three different couples in three different bedrooms. Through the couples' interactions Churchill demonstrates the excruciating difficulty of change within a relationship. First we witness a marital quarrel - written in Churchill's trademark overlapping dialogue; the second couple engage in an almost monosyllabic exchange; and in the third we watch as habits and patterns begin to repeat. The Times critic wrote: "..it sounds obvious, but Miss Churchill's writing has enough energy to make it intriguing ... the first scene is played as fast as a slap to the face and the second rolls quietly towards death."
